Craft Projects

Along with making our first place feel more like home I have been inspired to create my own decorations from holiday to everyday decor. I enjoy scrapbooking, making jewelry along with my household craft projects. I will post pictures of my creations and if you would like more details on how to make one of your own feel free to ask!

My latest crafts project was more involved than any of my others, I decided to make valances for our dining room and bay window.

I have been waiting for so long to have a home to decorate the way I envision, my dining room table is nothing fancy but I found ways to make it truly ours.

My Mother gave me most of my table runners and my Grandmother gave me my first centerpiece that I have to say started all of my craft projects.

 We also decided to carve our own pumpkin this year, it surprised me that Josh had never carved one before.

Spring is in the air and I had lots of fun with this table decor since I had some things to build on with my overall concept of Spring and the renewal it brings.

Finally but certainly not the afterthought for us in celebrating and of course decorating our Summer table is central to both Memorial day and the Fourth of July. The centerpiece is my favorite flower, the daisy, with blue butterflies attached and "firework" stems within the bush to make it more festive.

Our Summer table, the runner is one I purchased in Italy. The centerpiece was very simple to make.
